Position Overview:
Solid Power is seeking a Sr. Executive Assistant to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This newly created position is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the President & CEO, as well as back-fill other administrative needs as required. The Sr. Executive Assistant provides strategic guidance to ensure that the executive(s) have the time, resources, and materials needed to accomplish goals. The Sr. Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. The Sr. Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and Senior Management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities. The Sr. Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. This position will work primarily out of our Thornton CO office and will be onsite with flexibility to work remotely when appropriate.
Job Duties:
This position requires access to technology, software and other information that is subject to governmental access control restrictions, due to export controls. Employment in this position is conditioned on the continued availability of government authorization to authorize release of such items, to the extent required, including without limitation an export license, or other documentation required to establish authorization to receive access to such items.
Company may delay commencement of employment, rescind an offer of employment, terminate employment, and/or may modify job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and/or access to Company facilities and information systems, as Company deems appropriate, in order to ensure compliance with applicable government access control restrictions.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $123,000/year

Job Duties:
- Independently provides high level administrative support to executive including managing a complex calendar of appointments; reconciling expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that may be confidential; arranging travel; procuring supplies and services and ensuring stakeholder awareness in support of these activities.
- Conserves executive’s time and assists in their daily handling of high-volume email; initiating and drafting communications and analyzing information, requiring knowledge of executive’s views, philosophy, and some understanding of technical matters.
- Plans, coordinates, and ensures the executive’s schedule is followed and respected; assures executive is briefed and prepared for upcoming commitments.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressure.
- Identifies, designs, and implements new processes, procedures, and technology solutions to improve the executive’s efficiency, productivity, and communication.
- Partner with senior leaders and Board of Directors to provide support services and prepare material for key meetings.
- Manages a variety of projects for the CEO as needed.
- Works cooperatively with other employees of all levels throughout the organization.
- Welcomes visitors, answers questions and meeting requests directed to the executive.
- Achieves high performance goals and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- College degree or equivalent experience plus minimum of six years related experience supporting C-Suite level executives, preferably with a technical and/or publicly traded company.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive); Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro. A whiz at PowerPoint - and if not, an ability and desire to quickly become one.
