Solid Power is seeking an Office Administrator to join our talented team of engineers and scientists working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next-generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. This position will be the first to greet visitors and staff alike and will be a key contributor to the front office area aesthetics and function.

Job Duties:
- Welcome, check in, and issue badges for visitors and vendors. Contact and coordinate with internal host or escort to meet guests at lobby for onsite tasks.
- Be a helpful and willing source for staff to ask office-related questions, be able to think quickly and creatively to answer or assist.
- Coordinate with Office Manager for group lunches and large meetings, help with set up of food and drinks, and assist in take down and clean up.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy office including front lobby, breakrooms, conference rooms, and rest areas throughout the workday. Tasks to include but not limited to:
- Initiate cleaning cycles on appliances (refrigerators/dishwashers).
- Purchase and restock consumables and office supplies (snacks, beverages, pens, paper, etc.) as necessary; replenish inventory as it is received.
- Provide guidance to off-shift janitorial staff for areas of concern or need for additional focus.
- Arrange/rearrange meetings via Outlook & Teams, ensuring accurate detailed information.
- Assist Office Manager or internal staff with administrative tasks and/or projects upon request (Document creation in MS Office Suite and/or other platforms, information reconciliation).
- Review and confirm office expense invoices for accuracy (snacks/coffee deliveries, etc.).
- SAP, SAP Concur experience is desired.
- Assist internal teams with scheduled services and/or requests (coffee machine maintenance, office organization and badging needs).
- Receive and distribute company mail and deliveries to appropriate parties (general copier/printer use, ability to learn new equipment).
- Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Ability to work in-office Monday – Friday and have reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Power Point).
- Highly skilled in Outlook Calendar functionality including scheduling of meetings/conference rooms.
- Familiarity and zest for creative design tools such as Canva and Microsoft Visio is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high level attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, contractors, and vendors.
- 2+ years’ administrative support or customer service-related experience in a professional office environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Ability to periodically walk the office area, stretch to reach upper cabinets or bend to the floor to retrieve items, occasional lifting to 40 lbs.
- Ability to walk a short distance to retrieve mail.
