Point Solutions Group is part of a team providing software engineering expertise to our clients. We are hiring for a Software Developer to join our firm. The Software Developer will work on the Bounty Hunter Weapon System, a Defensive Space Control Program of Record for the United States Space Force.  The selected candidate will develop software solutions to problems that are historically solved with hardware only solutions. The system will leverage advance engineer practices combined with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to automate system functions. Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops web applications for satellite systems
• Support front-end and UX/UI development and integration
• Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity
• May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
• May provide technical consultation to other departments
• May provide work leadership to lower-level employees

Required Experience

• Minimum Active Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+years' software engineering related experience (minimum of 8 years if no degree)
• Working knowledge of current operating systems and programming languages
• Basic knowledge of desktop applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
• Experience with Front End web development: React, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience with Docker or other container programs preferred
• Experience with Kubernetes Clusters, both cloud based and local instances
• Experience with software defined radios or any signals related development experience is preferred
• Experience with RabbitMQ preferred
• Experience with Google Protobuf preferred
• Machine learning experience preferred: Kira, Tensorflow
