Point Solutions Group is part of a team providing development and operational support to a major intelligence contract in the Huntsville area. We are currently looking to hire a skilled Software Engineer to create applications to aid United States war fighting efforts. Candidates, in order to be considered for this opportunity must be able to maintain an active Top Secret / SCI Clearance and support on site work at the Prime contractor’s location in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, tests and implements complicated and difficult software programs *
• Analyzes user’s software program needs and assists in troubleshooting *
• Design and develops software using basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systems *
• Performs systems modeling, simulation and analysis *
• Advises hardware design engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems
• May provide input for documentation of new or existing programs

 Required Experience

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelors’ degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or other related field or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-8 years related experience
• Working knowledge of desktop applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
• Working knowledge of current operating systems and programming languages
• Experience in ASP.NET/C#
• Working knowledge of EntityFramework and ADO.NET
• Working knowledge of Bootstrap, Angular JS, JavaScript, C
• Knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, JSON and MVC
• Familiar version control software such as Mercurial or GIT
