Join Point Solutions Group in our effort to support USAF and USSF evolving space capabilities! We are seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst for our team working on a program at Peterson Space Force Base. Candidates will need to be able to work on site and have an active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Understanding customer requirements, adjusting analytical efforts to meet those requirements, and effectively communicating results
• Developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models to solve various problems across multiple domains
• Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
• Work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff

Required Skills and Experience

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Master of Science degree in operations research or related technical field
• 5 years of experience
• Proficiency with Python
• Experience with Excel VBA 
• Experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models

Preferred Experience:

• Ph.D. in operations research or a theoretical science field
• 10+ years of experience
• Experience in DoD space and joint force programs
• Experience with the Warp Core and/or Envision platforms
• Experience with NumPy, scikit-learn, keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Pandas, SymPy, SPSS, PSPP, SymPy, SAS, JMP
• Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, R, SQL
• Experience with Excel VBA

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications
