What you’ll do on the team

As a Senior MDG Consultant, you will be part of the Avvale Application Managed Services team in North America. You will work on a blend of small scale projects and ongoing AMS activities for clients based in the United States. You’ll have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and build upon your existing technical skills while also wearing the hat of a Consultant by leading design sessions, working closely with functional/business team members, and playing a key role in the overall solution architecture. This role is remote and requires zero travel.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing MDG solution for the collected Business Requirements

• Develop, customize, enhance, fix and maintain code in SAP.

• Document, analyze and perform unit testing.

• Work autonomously with the client and provide insightful recommendations for improvement to further support the clients evolving business process

• Provide ongoing support and work closely with Client Functional, Basis, Security, and Project Management resources to develop and realize overall solution and architecture design.

• Translate business requirements and needs into technical specifications.

• Provide regular and effective progress updates to management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Fluent in English

• 5+ years of SAP MDG functional and customizing experience in one or more of the following Master Data Domains like Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance etc.

• Background in ABAP Development is a Plus

• Experience in Master data management with expertise in implementing SAP MDG and SAP ECC and SAP EIM tools like Data Services and Information Steward

• System interfaces - Inbound/Outbound Interfaces across various systems using Distribution Rule Framework (DRF) – Data Transfer, IDOC, ALE, Key & Value Mapping

• Experience with SAP Table structure – preferably S/4 HANA

• System landscape optimization

• Strong ABAP or PO/PI experience is ideal

• Strong knowledge of Finance, Material, Supplier and Customer Master Data, preferred

• Experience in complex SAP environments supporting multiple components, preferred
