What you’ll do on the team

Avvale is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to support SAP and Cloud Implementations, Migrations and upgrades. As a Technical Project Manager you will lead and collaborate with internal technical and functional team members – in addition to collaborating with Avvale’s customer PMO. You are a leader, experienced in managing multiple disciplinary project teams, you will be a key delivery team member and take ownership of all financial and quality aspects of project delivery, build and maintain trust and partnership with the Avvale internal team and customer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate internal and external resources for high quality project execution – delivered using Avvale and traditional PMI-based methodologies.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Coordinate resource availability and allocation with Resource Management

  • Develop detailed project plan and track progress

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage and build a trusted relationships with the client and all stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation – project scope, risk plan, communication plan, and cutover plans.

  • Communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives and help prepare a path for the project team to achieve them

  • Proactively identify changes in work scope and take appropriate steps to amend the scope of work requirements, budget and timeline.

  • Proactively manage project stakeholder satisfaction to position and secure customer reference and success story

  • Participate in the development of project management best practices

  • Follow prescribed project procedures as determined by management and organization

  • Perform budget planning and recognize revenue with regard to resources and project reconciliation of monthly financials.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a project/program manager leading Cloud Migration projects with AWS and/or GCP and SAP Implementations and upgrades

  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to keep cool under pressure

  • Ideally have experience working in Technology Consulting

Base salary range: 135- 175k

- Discretionary Annual Bonus Potential: up to 15% of base salary based on company and individual key performance indicators.
