Senior Manager, Employee Relations Business Partner

As the Senior Manager, Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP), you will play an integral role in the enhancement and scaling of Employee Relations (ER) capability and will work to execute and manage a streamlined ER function across field DC locations in multiple states. In this role, you will liaise between our ER Investigations and Compliance functions to create programs and practices targeting the development of best in class ER capabilities. You will serve as the ER subject matter expert for a team of over 10,000 associates while working closely with the Head of Employee Relations to implement a long term strategy for elevating the ER function and capabilities across the organization.
You will:
- Liaise between the investigations, compliance and HRBP functions to ensure alignment and drive synergies
- Actively collaborate with HR Leadership and Legal partners to ensure the applicable policies, trainings and risk mitigation strategies are in place to support our company mission and values
- Develop and support with the implementation of ER programs across field and HQ locations
- Partner with our DE&I function to identify hiring and developmental opportunities across the business to drive URM representation
- Partner with COEs including Legal, Employee Engagement, Talent, Compensation and others as needed to support with ER driven projects and initiatives
- Conduct ER risk & trend analysis for all field locations, and implement proactive network and site specific risk mitigation strategies in partnership with field HR Business Partners and ER Investigators
- Identify field leadership opportunities and skill gaps through trend analysis and onsite visits and address through onsite and virtual workplace ER capability training for field HR and Operations leadership
- Partner with HR Business Partners to oversee implementation of action plans stemming from investigation trends, compliance opportunities and employee engagement surveys in support of enhancing our overall employee engagement and value proposition
- Proactively identify opportunities for elevation of the ER function and take appropriate partners to implement processes that mitigate risk and improve the employee experience & support with additional adhoc ER team needs, as necessary
- Drive continuous improvement across the ER function and support with projects as needed

You have:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s and/or HR Certifications preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of HR Employee Relations specialized experience preferably in a field operations or distribution environment. HRBP experience may be considered with deep Employee Relations expertise
- Experience managing an HR and/or ER function across multiple states strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience with federal, state and local employment laws including, but not limited to Title VII, ADEA, FLSA
- Proven investigation experience including interviewing of witnesses, taking notes, and writing investigation summaries
- Ability to develop processes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders of all levels
- High level of comfort working autonomously and recommending strategic changes
- Ability to develop and execute a proactive employee and labor relations strategy focused on building leadership skills to promote employee engagement
- Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Required travel to sites monthly or as needed for investigation purposes
- Bilingual or Multilingual verbal communication skills a plus
