We are looking for a Junior New Ingredient Development (NID) Specialist who will join our team on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the NID Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team of data-driven creatives, building meaningful food experiences for thousands of Canadians weekly!
Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for
- Work closely with the HFCP Product and Procurement Teams to support both new and existing ingredient development
- Collaborate with the Product and Procurement Teams on end-to-end projects ranging from; net new product offerings, cost-savings initiatives and in-market performance
- Manage multiple cross-functional stakeholder relationships through a collaborative, data-led approach
- Maintain existing SKU Validation inbounding processes and tools with a view to improve process gaps as identified
- Create quantitative/qualitative surveys for SKU sensory tests and maintain delivery/testing schedule for the Tasting Panel
- Analyze survey feedback and share the results with all relevant stakeholders
- Embrace the HelloFresh DNA and apply these core principles to your daily work to positively impact your team and organization at large
- All other duties, as assigned

- Undergraduate or Culinary Degree or equivalent commercial food industry experience
- Some experience in recipe development, CPG product development, and/or professional kitchens
- Background in Food Science is a plus
- Data-driven in all that you do
- Comfort in working with databases (including data entry) and learning proprietary software
- Proactive, ambitious, and confident: you take ownership of your work and think beyond the scope of a given assignment
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change and limited direction
- Comfortable making quick decisions with far-reaching consequences

Whether this role is based out of our headquarters or one of our distribution centers, it is possible that you may be exposed to such allergens in this role.
