As HelloFresh grows, so does our Finance team! We in Finance like to think of ourselves as allrounders. We not only look to be experts on all things accounting standards and what this means for the business, but we also aim to consult and add value on workflows and decision making throughout the entire business.

By joining the Finance leadership team, you will be an integral part of the development and success of our Finance team. Leadership means ownership of both operational finance and employee development initiatives. You will be based out of our Nordic head office in Island Brygge, Copenhagen and report to the Director of Finance.

You will…

• Own the development of the accounting department (principles for bookkeeping, cost setup, approvals, accounting principles, and more)
• Have ownership of operational finance including invoicing, bank reconciliations, travel expenses, etc. You will manage the internal financial reporting
• Lead and manage a diverse team of 5 and provide stewardship for the team including coaching & developing team members
• Drive process improvements, helping to streamline and automate processes in collaboration with other departments
• Develop and improve the use of ERP systems with Global counterparts
• Support and collaborate with the Tax Manager on VAT and tax reconciliations
• Ensure compliance internally and externally on rules and regulations

You have…

• Passion, data-driven mindset, hands-on way of working, problem solving skills, abstract thinking.
• A solution oriented and empathetic approach
• Great communication skills in English. Fluency in any Nordic language is a plus, not compulsory.
• Experience in a similar role (5+ years experience is desired) and in a hyper growth environment.
• Experience in IFRS Accounting Standards.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting/ERP systems.
