Title: Director, Growth Sales

The Director, Growth Sales will lead the new sales team for HelloFresh in the US (our largest market) and Canada. This role will continue building and expanding our new sales channel where we partner with employers and organizations that want to buy large quantities of meal kits for their employees or people of their interest.

You will...

  • Be the quarterback of your business but partner throughout the organization to ensure shared vision and alignment
  • Be responsible for end-to-end performance of the HelloFresh Sales division, with key objectives including Sales volume, revenue growth & EBITDA across our Enterprise, Perks and Affiliate business portfolios
  • Continue to build our Sales organization, across Talent attraction and retention as well as building and sustaining a high performance culture
  • Define our growth strategy for Sales, with core components including inbound & outbound strategy, demand generation, product strategy, including devising ways to leverage our “multi-brand” strategy in sales and target-setting
  • Build relationships with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Operations, Technology & People teams to provide an exceptional customer and employee experience and drive results
  • Effectively manage resources needed to deliver profitable growth; including budgeting, optimizing fixed cost expenses, creating the optimal sales team structure and designing the staff compensation and incentive programs
  • Support sales representatives on large deals, at times handle own book of leads when building new sales channels
  • Provide integrated customer and competitor insights to the leadership team to inform broader company-wide strategy

You are...

  • Highly customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent in verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines

You have...

  • 12+ years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in Sales, and 5+ in Sales leadership positions
  • Desire to stay abreast of emerging market trends and customer needs to expand relationships and trust
  • Ability to guide others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovating sales solutions
  • Evidence of very fast career growth / trajectory, high ambition levels, and previous ownership of P&L
  • Strong and proven leadership skills, ideally having overseen a team of >10
  • A highly data-driven approach to decision-making and strategy formation - i.e., comfortable with modeling goals in spreadsheets
  • Experience building sales teams through a period of rapid expansion or from scratch
  • Experience devising and implementing different customer and employee incentive structures to optimize performance
