Job description

HelloFresh’s Business Intelligence team aims to steer the business through robust and insights-driven data analytics, in order to steer decision-making and overall, improve the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow YouFoodz, a leading HelloFresh brand focused on serving ready-to-eat meals across Australia.

We are looking for a passionate analyst who will own the Youfoodz forecast in Australia -- from high level budgeting, to determining the number of customer orders, to the number of carrots we need to order. All forecast data, analytics and operations required by the wider business will come from you. This individual will also have the opportunity to work on exciting forecast projects that support our entire HelloFresh ANZ group of brands -- HelloFresh Australia, HelloFresh New Zealand, and EveryPlate Australia, in addition to YouFoodz.

We are looking for a self-motivated and intellectually-curious individual, with a keen interest in using data analytics to understand and forecast customer behavior. An ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both diving deep into data to identify trends, and rolling up their sleeves to get things done. In addition to this, you will champion and role model HelloFresh’s DNA.

You will….

  • Own the end-to-end forecast across analytics, process, projects and stakeholder management

  • Create actionable forecasting insights and models to improve forecasting accuracy and understanding of customer behaviour (e.g., recipe selections, pause behaviours, etc.)

  • Advance existing forecast models to reflect an increasingly complex product offering

  • Be confident in communicating forecast assumptions to non-technical audiences

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across markets (New Zealand, Australia, Berlin, London) and across various supply chain and product initiatives

  • Build dashboards, reporting and visualizations to ensure regular tracking of performance

  • Promote forecast data literacy and enabling stakeholders to better understand and own the forecast, including training materials and cross-functional collaboration

You have…

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field

  • 1-2 years prior work experience in a relevant Analytical role (e.g. Analyst)

  • Data-driven, solid analytical and quantitative thinking with a logical approach

  • Detail-oriented, inherent drive to seek new information and explore topics in-depth

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong stakeholder management

  • Expert proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, with a willingness and curiosity to learn new data analytical languages and skills.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python. Proficiency in Tableau is a plus but not required.

You are ...

  • Obsessed with food!

  • Passionate about our business

  • Proactive, ambitious and assertive

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and analytical environment, ability to work autonomously and also communicate progress effectively

  • Team player, willingness to learn and help share best practices with others

What you’ll get in return...

  • Significant reduction on our meal kits, 70% off from your first day

  • HelloFresh Academies, monthly internal learning & development

  • Continuous development including external courses

  • Working flexibility available

  • A diverse and vibrant international environment, with offices in 14 countries

  • The chance to have a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing technology companies in an exciting growth phase

  • A guaranteed steep learning curve & boost for your career

  • Regular team-building events
