Account Executive, EverCommerce Payment Solutions - Remote US

We are looking for an Account Executive to facilitate payment processing that integrates into the software sold by EverCommerce owned companies as well as by third party partners. This is a full-cycle sales representative responsible for expertly recommending the best path for these customers to take in order to run their businesses more efficiently.

Account Executives must have intimate knowledge of our partners’ software and be able to speak to the benefits of activating our payments integration. It is imperative that Account Executives are well-versed in credit card processing motions and provide a clear explanation to customers in need of an improved payment solution. There are details within this industry that are not intuitive to all, so Account Executives must be able to provide this clarity as part of their phone and email conversations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with leads both over the phone and via email

  • Run the entire sales cycle, discovery, presentation, proposal, price negotiation, close, underwriting and successful handoff to Customer Success

  • Own and manage a sizeable pipeline of vertical specific software customers with payments opportunities

  • Meet and exceed known input metrics, efficiency metrics and output metrics

  • Perform product demos within partner software

  • Participate in and run one-to-many webinars and product demonstration with key partners

  • Attend tradeshows and conventions on behalf of partners and EverCommerce

  • Partner with sales and partnership leaders to enhance the current product offering and further develop the sales and onboarding process for new and existing partner customers

  • Deliver weekly pipeline reviews and forecasts

  • Deliver upon sales targets, including gross customer adds, conversion rates and margin expectations

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 2-5 years of experience in payments software or SaaS sales

  • Experience working with Home Services or Health and Medical verticals a plus

  • History of over-achievement

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, potentially unknown and rapidly changing environment

  • Good sales DNA and ability to match the selling pace of your buyer

  • Excellent phone presence and strong writing skills

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

  • Salesforce, sales engagement software, pipeline management, MS Office experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equal relevant experience

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $70,000 USD Per Year with OTE up to $100,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
