EverCommerce is seeking a Head of Data Analytics to lead the continued development and evolution of the company’s strategic data initiatives. The Head of Data Analytics will lead the data analytics and functional organization and partner with key business stakeholders, developing strategies to transform raw operational and financial data into valuable business insights, promoting data-driven decision-making across the company. The role will be responsible for overall data management, associated infrastructure development, analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights to help the organization identify and take advantage of business growth opportunities. This senior leader will also partner with other leaders and stakeholders in Operations, Finance, and Business Systems to drive EverCommerce’s efforts to further build and mature the overall data posture of the company and Data Analytics function, identifying areas of need, tooling and data requirements, and organizational structure and capabilities optimization.


Leadership & Strategy:

  • Build, lead, mentor, and grow the data analytics function and team.

  • Develop and oversee the execution of the company-wide data analytics strategy, defining the short- and long-term strategies for the function to ensure effective delivery of information that meets the company’s current and future requirements.

  • Drive tight collaboration with executive leadership to align data analytics initiatives with company objectives.

  • Drive and strengthen collaboration across the entire EverCommerce analytics community

Data Management & Governance:

  • Work with key business stakeholders to optimize scorecards, dashboards, and related reports necessary to track KPIs and critical metrics across multiple domains.

  • Own the timely and top-quality delivery of all required operational and relevant company-wide KPIs to support public company disclosure and Board of Directors meeting requirements.

  • Identify and drive data quality enhancement opportunities to support high-integrity reporting.

  • Oversee the development and management of the company's data infrastructure, tools, and platforms, ensuring the security, quality, and integrity of data across the company.

  • Drive the establishment of data governance policies and ensure adherence across the company.

Collaboration & Integration:

  • Work closely with all functional leadership and organizations, including product, sales, and marketing teams, to ensure the data analytics needs of the business are met.

  • Advocate for a data-driven culture, promoting the importance and value of analytics both internally and externally.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Engage with external stakeholders, partners, and clients on data analytics projects or collaborations.

Innovation & Research:

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics, encouraging innovation within the team.

  • Assess and review new technology opportunities related to data management, including the impact to the organization’s existing data management operations.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Oversee the data analytics department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and advocating for required systems/personnel investments necessary to support the achievement of the company’s objectives.

  • Assess and procure necessary tools and technologies to advance the team's capabilities.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics in a scaled operating environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant data visualization tools.

  • Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and machine learning algorithms.

  • Proven track record of driving analytics initiatives that have a tangible impact on business outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail.

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.
