We are looking for a Web Developer to focus on our {Website and Integration Products}. Socius Marketing is a rapidly scaling marketing agency servicing the home improvement, home services, and health care industries. Our services span from website development to search engine optimization to search engine marketing. Our goal is to generate our clients as many leads as possible at the lowest cost per lead from a digital perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Use HTML / CSS / JavaScript to develop visually stunning user-driven websites without a WYSIWYG editor.

• Maintain familiarity with content management and eCommerce solutions such as WordPress

• Work within current development to maintain highly visible client web sites

• Developing and supporting reusable internal tools to support the Design and Sales departments

• Set up, manage, and configure hosting environments

• Proactively perform cross-browser testing and optimizations

• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code

• Maintain working knowledge of new development software, trends, and practices related to your responsibilities

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

• 5+ years full time experience with your primary duties focusing on PHP, HTML, JS (Vue/React/jQuery) development in a production environment.

• You should be very familiar with WordPress internals, be able to find your way around custom plugins and themes.

• You should be able to identify root causes of complex problems and find novel solutions to overcome them. You should be persistent in finding solutions and not be easily discouraged.

• Your skills and experience are not limited to WordPress. You’ve used other frameworks and systems, like Laravel, Express, etc.

• You understand how web applications work, all the way from request to response. You’re familiar with relational databases.

• You’ve administered hosting environments, like virtual private servers – and are familiar with cPanel / WHM, have a basic familiarity with Linux.

• You can clone & setup a WordPress site locally, without breaking a sweat.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:

The target base compensation for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 USD per/year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
