We are looking for a Solution Engineer to focus on Socius Marketing products and clients. Socius Marketing is a rapidly scaling marketing agency servicing the home improvement, home services, and health care industries. Our services span from website development to search engine optimization to search engine marketing. Our goal is to generate our clients as many leads as possible at the lowest cost per lead from a digital perspective.
We are seeking a skilled Solution Engineer to join our team. As a Solution Engineer, you will play a vital role in building and configuring solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and ensuring that our solutions are tailored to our clients' specific requirements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting tier three client technical issues. We are looking for someone who has the technical expertise and curiosity to solve complicated problems but also enjoys engaging with clients to ensure we are delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Coding: You should have a solid foundation in at least the following web languages: JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and PHP.
You will be required to build and configure product requests from our clients and maintain existing products.
You should be proficient in version control systems, like Git. Familiarity with Vue 2, gulp/grunt/webpack is a big plus.
You should be very familiar with WordPress internals and be able to find your way around custom plugins and themes. Familiar with Composer.
API: Knowledge of building out API integrations is highly desirable.
You should be familiar with API integrations and be able to integrate them into our solutions.
CRM Configuration: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM lead flow configurations (both building and troubleshooting existing).
You should be able to build and configure solutions based on client requests. You have worked and are familiar with Zapier.
Customer service or client facing support experience in a technical role.
A passion for working with clients to solve technical issues and the ability to document and train others on the solutions once developed.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
Digital marketing and lead gen industry knowledge: As an expert in your field, you will be expected to have extensive product knowledge related to website development, crm integration, and hosting platform support.
Communication: You should be able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You should be able to speak the language that will inspire our clients, team, and stakeholders to adopt the solutions we build.
Problem Solving: You should be able to identify root causes of complex problems and find novel solutions to overcome them. You should be persistent in finding solutions and not be easily discouraged.
Passion for Helping Customers: You should have a strong desire to help our customers and empower them with knowledge and tools that go beyond the baseline understanding of our solutions.
Leading Meetings: You should have excellent leadership skills and be able to lead meetings with our clients. You should be able to set the agenda, move smoothly between topics, and ensure that everyone understands before moving on.
Excellent written and verbal skills
Proven ability to effectively communicate with clients, engineers, sales, and account management partners.
3-5 years of product solution engineer experience for software or digital marketing businesses
Ability work efficiently and independently
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
Willingness and ability to learn and adapt
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:
The target base compensation for this position is $100,00-115,000 USD per yearin most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
