We are looking for a Sr User Experience and Interaction Lead to focus on elevating Service Fusion’s Field Service Management (FSM) platform to meet the market demand and produce customers for life. Service Fusion, an EverCommerce solution group, is an end to end vertical software platform for small & medium-sized professional home services trade contractors. We have a simple mission: Enable Contractors to more efficiently and profitably delight customers.
Service Fusion provides business & workflow management applications for small & medium business contractors to manage their entire workflow – from initial acquisition of a customer opportunity, through the process of creating estimates, creating and managing jobs, overseeing inventory, providing invoices, accepting payments, and reconciling with QuickBooks. More importantly, allowing these capabilities to be done from anywhere. Service Fusion is on a mission to help contractors grow their businesses, drive more efficiency, and deliver increased profits, all while delivering a delightful customer experience for their end customer. Our ideal candidate has a genuine passion for technology and a deep-rooted desire to create solutions that simplify the day-to-day operations of home service companies. They have experience with collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meticulously define, refine, and prioritize product roadmaps. You strongly advocate a customer-centric approach to problem-solving and possess the aptitude to clearly articulate end-user needs regarding functionality, workflows, and documentation. Your Home Services or Field Service Management expertise will be a major plus but not a prerequisite.
This role involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure our solutions are user-friendly, intuitive, and fully cater to the needs of our customers. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement user-centered design for our various software products across desktop and mobile platforms.
Conduct customer research, usability studies, and design experiments to understand users' needs and behaviors.
Leverage data analytics to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
Create wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
Conduct user testing of applications, software, and websites.
Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design, interaction design, or a related field.
Demonstrable UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools.
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
Experience in conducting customer research and data analytics.
Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Nice to have:
Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Experience working in the field management software or home services industry.
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States, with a heavy preference for a candidate in the Dallas Fort Worth area – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role requires travel 3-4 times a year to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:
The target base compensation for this position is $100,000 to $110,00 USD per /year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
