The EverCommerce Payment Solutions organization, also known as PaySimple, is focused on delivering unparalleled value to our partners through frictionless embedded payments and commerce solutions at scale.

We are looking for a leader to join the EverCommerce Payment Solutions Partnerships team to focus on the continued growth of our third-party ISV partners and integrated EverCommerce solution organizations.

As a member of the Partnerships team, you are a key contributor to the EverCommerce Payment Solutions team. You will leverage your ability to build strong relationships as well as your consultative selling and strategic thinking skills to identify and grow the partnerships within your portfolio.

You are a professional business leader who can take ownership of high profile and complex initiatives with multiple senior-level touchpoints across EverCommerce and our partners. A strong business acumen, financial and analytical skills, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, highly complex and matrixed environment is required.


  • Leverage business development skills to identify growth opportunities within your portfolio to achieve leads, boards, processing volume, and revenue targets
  • Lead successful contract renewal negotiations through profitable deal constructs with third-party ISV partners
  • Act as the day-to-day payments consultant for the partner and an escalation point for account support; address issues as they arise, bringing in cross-functional team as needed
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships across EverCommerce sales, customer success, marketing, product, to increase processing volume within portfolio
  • Create account plans to improve relationships with partners and help in long-term development and retention.
  • Develop and lead business reviews that highlight wins and opportunity areas for your partners.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, positive team player
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or account management. Experience in payments, Fintech, merchant acquiring, or adjacent industries strongly desired
  • Must demonstrate executive presence internally and externally, with the ability to lead and influence senior-level discussions with partners
  • Demonstrate a great sense of curiosity to generate ideas, problem-solve, and to identify new opportunities for business growth
  • Experience leading contract management and complex negotiations
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage effectively upstream
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus

Where: [This is a remote, US based position, some travel required for quarterly events and on-site partner meetings.]
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $100,000 base plus additional commissions per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
